The finished weight was about 145 pounds.

The bronze alloy we use (and the standard for art in the US) is CDA 873 silicon bronze, also known as Everdur. Typically 3/16" thick.

The patina was applied using liver of sulfur, ferric nitrate, and a beige oxide wash. It was then sealed with lacquer and waxed.
